Days 1 and 2

WORDS

THIS IS REUBO, FOOLS

We finally got internets up, and as I sit at the laptop being buffeted by a way-too-cold air conditioner, I... um... er...

Write this blog?

'Cause I'm a great writer. Sort of.

So, I should start this at the beginning. Or begin this at the start. And as everyone knows, the start (Or beginning) is where the car pulls out of the driveway of where we live. So... what can I say? It's a car ride. We had Chloe with us, so we had to drop her off at a kennel. We then departed for the border, where we had to wait for maybe an hour to get through. And we got randomly chosen for an inspection from the border guys. Lucky us.

So we continued on, and... we... drove... past Seattle, Portland, and various small towns and boring countrysides... for a really long time. I have nothing to say here. We also ate dinner at Denny's. We continued until around 11:00 at night, when we arrived in a small town somewhere in Oregon to find a place to sleep. We drove around, trying about 6 or 7 hotels until we finally found vacancy at a Travelodge motel. We slept.

Next morning, we got up and left in the car. We drove more, and we entered California. There, the scenery got a little more interesting. There were even a couple of cactuses. We got to Corte Madera at around 4:30, where we got into our (Luckily reserved) hotel room. It's a nice hotel. It has a pool and stuff like that. We went to the nearby resteraunt for dinner, where we had some really big food. Esquire's parents left to go to San Francisco for a while, giving us time to write this blog. After we're done with the blog, we might go to the pool or something. Why would you care.

Us dropping off Chloe.

I think this would be more realistic if there were a bunch of statues of fat guys in police uniforms on the US side of the arch.

I especially love the photo: "everything's big in America" Hey Reuboman, I called your place to see if you wanted to come by and help us load old issues of Momentum onto our website.

Wanna?

It's like a job, but you don't get paid.

Oh, and your sister is yer boss, and maybe it's a lot of fun.
